My first trip out with the 10-24mm was to the Richmond Night Market. I thought it would be a fun place to get acquainted with the lens, and it was, but I got completely distracted by the bright lights of the two rides there and wound up spending a lot of time experimenting with slow shutter speeds and pans.

My very first camera!
We were going to be going on vacation as I recall. I was about 10 years old at the time. And my parents decided to buy my brother Lee and me each a camera. My youngest brother Dale was about three at the time, so a little too young for a camera. Anyway, the Kodak 110 appeared.

It has a max. 1/500 sec.
